The Anti-Christ Topic On «Youtube»:

Often Taught By American Preachers As a

Person Controlling the Entire World.

Can That Be True?

By Jan Lilleby

Not that I have so much against American preachers in general, but when we come to eschatological topics, such as with the prophesies of a false Messiah, the Anti-Christ of the Bible, it seem to me that around 95-98 percent of them are totally in the dark in regard to this topic. Image: Model of the Third Temple planned.

They talk of Anti-Christ as a man who will terrorize and exercise a full dictatorship in the world – and thus create some sort of ‘Hell on Earth’ horror and disaster.

And doing this from his place in Jerusalem, namely the Temple!

Why pull up ‘Youtube’ here?

Because I think that the entire ‘Youtube’ site is a place for not only serious people and serious causes – but as a whole, the ‘Youtube’ looks to have become a total freak show. Everyone can put up their videos there and promote their causes and their beliefs, whatever those are. In Biblical issues it seem to me that heretical ‘prophets’ are dominating that site – and it is hard to find someone who really can hold forth the Bible in a rightful order, and letting the Grace Gospel of Paul shine forth.

Not long ago I really jumped in my seat: A video of some loony-tunes Hill Billy ‘Messiah’ in a farmer’s plaid shirt, a blue farmer’s jeans and a hat, and of course with a beard….saying he is the Messiah!  And showing an audience (however small a group of followers). He keeps it up – and it looks like a super-freak show. And gullible lesser Hill Billies following him and believing he is the Messiah of God!  Can you believe it?!! Their knowledge in the Holy Bible is zero. What is really going on in their confused minds, poor people?

But when you see and listens to full-time preachers and pastors who are well into the Bible and eschatology, go on talking about the Anti-Christ to come, I think many of those ministers are really confused and misinformed in the topic.

I just - by chance – came across a video in which pastor John McArthur (an established known minister in California, making regular YouTube and TV sermons called ‘Grace To You’) where he had a sermon on the Anti-Christ topic.

And again I had to hear an American minister say that Anti-Christ shall rule the world, bringing death and destruction.

He is entirely wrong in his assumptions, and has not really made a full view of what the Bible says of this. It is not a question of being dumb, for McArthur is in no way foolish – no, it is a question of ignorance in several details in the Word of God.

In this little article I wish to point out to you one important detail, which also is a Biblical fact, and that is the fact that most Bible translations are in much error regarding certain words and expressions, since Greek language leaves many words several meanings. Often it is the context in question that will lead one to use the correct translation of a word which may mean more than just one thing. Overlooking the context is the sin most often found with translation committees.

And often the translators/committees, they chose to pick a meaning which misguided the readers of the Bible. Pastor McArthur is just one of many, who have been misguided by wrong translation of the word of God.

THE GREEK WORD ‘COSMOS’ MAKES ONE NATION

BECOME ‘THE WHOLE WORLD’ IF ONE

MISS OUT ON THE CONTEXT AT HAND

.

To follow the string here – in the topic of Anti-Christ – the severe misunderstanding in this is the Greek word cosmos – often translated into “World”. But it does not only mean ‘World’, it means also ‘Nation’, ‘Land’, ‘Earth’, ‘Place’, ‘The Universe’ and lots of other things. You only have to look it up on internet, it is all there. Greek language is quite complex and not easily available. One has to have special experts in Greek to get this all correct.

Wrong understanding of the Revelation Book 13:7, 8 can turn Israel in the end times into ‘The whole world’ or ‘All nations’  etc:

Amplified Bible, quote:

“He (Anti-Christ) was further permitted to wage war on God’s holy people (the saints) and to overcome them. And power was given him to extend his authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation.  -  -  -  And all the inhabitants of the earth will fall down in adoration and pay him homage, everyone whose name has not been recorded in the Book of Life of the Lamb that was slain (in sacrifice) from the foundation of the world.”

WHAT IS THE CONTEXT IN THIS CASE?

Jesus explicitly explained to his listeners that the nation of Israel would not receive Him, but they would receive he that would come in his own name – meaning the Anti-Christ. Israel is the nation that will receive Anti-Christ – this is the proper Biblical context!

John 10:10 addresses that coming Anti-Christ by description:

“The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).”

The THIEF?

Many preachers in error, says that the thief in John 10:10 is the devil, Satan. But that is entirely wrong. The ‘Thief’ is the coming Anti-Christ. However, he is of course coming as a man sent and helped by Satan. But he is not Satan himself, only his servant. Paul called him for the Man of Sin, the Lawless one, Son of Perdition, a falsehood who will place himself in the Temple demanding Israel to bow down before him as their God and Messiah. Check out II Thes 2:4.

Already in John 5:43 Jesus had pointed to that false Messiah, saying:

“I have come in my Father’s name and with His power, and you do not receive me; but IF ANOTHER COMES in his own name and his own power and with no other authority but himself, you WILL RECEIVE HIM and give him your approval”.

To whom was Jesus speaking when He said these things?  Israel, the Jews of course. He had told it in public, Mat. 15:24,

“..I was sent ONLY to the lost sheep of the house of Israel”.

Anti-Christ is NOT coming to terrorize and take the entire world under his satanic control, no – he shall come to take Israel and suppress them and claiming to be their God, installing himself in the third temple (which, by the way, soon will be raised in Jerusalem).

Rev. 13:7, 8 is saying, correctly translated according to right context, that Anti-Christ would have “…all the inhabitants of the land, the nation of Israel, fall down in adoration…”.

Conclusively, we must be very accurate when reading the Bible. We must make sure that we do not ‘Read into it’ meanings or views that are in error.

The whole ‘Great Tribulation’ which Jesus spoke of in Mat. 24:21, 22, is a coming seven year tribulation in Israel, and not aimed against the whole world. In Dan 9:24-27 it is the ‘Seventieth Year Week’ – seven years of tribulation in Israel.

Jer. 30:7 calls this seven year period for The time of Jacob’s trouble”- and we know that Jacob was re-named Israel after his struggle with the Lords angel. It is Israel’s trouble, the time of seven years, inside which the Anti-Christ shall take his reign, the last 42 months (3 ½ years).

Dear fellow American Christian believers (and also believers of other nations), pastors, ministers, church members:

Please quit the faulty concepts of an Anti-Christ who is coming to terrorize the whole world. The Bible says Israel, and that’s it!  America, or Europe, or Russia, or China – you name it – there shall not come any ‘Great Tribulation’ as described in the Book of Revelation to any nation, but Israel.

However, people from all nations, seeing what happens in Israel at that time (ref. Ezek 36:23), will be scared and be anxious and trembling witnesses to such horrors hitting Israel, like we read in Rev. 6 and on. But that still don’t makes up any tribulation as such.

Ezek 36 is thereby actually telling us directly, that the nations outside of Israel, will be witnessing what God sends of His punishments inside Israel. You understand this, right? Let’s read it:

“And I will vindicate the holiness of My great name (Jesus Christ) and separate it for its holy purpose from all that defiles it – My name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you (Israel, Jews) have profaned among them – and the nations will know, understand and realize that I am the Lord, when I shall be set apart by you, and My holiness vindicated in you before their (the nations) eyes and yours.”

It is well known in the world that most Jews are rejecting Jesus Christ still. And they have – as a whole – kept on blaspheming and slandering the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ; for centuries all since the times of the apostles. But one day soon, it will be ‘Payback time’.

And for this, the Lord is sending the so-called ‘Day of Vengeance’ –ref. Is. 61:2 – the last half of this verse which Jesus left out when reading the passage in the synagogue at Nazareth. This day of vengeance is the very same as the ‘Great Tribulation’. There must be no doubt whatsoever, that this day (seven hard years) will be upon Israel and no other nation. You can read my free Word-book in that topic (‘Moses and Elijah Coming with the Day of Vengeance’) – and I can email it to you if you first ask me by email.

If we bring in the fact that (since I brought up the Anti-Christ topic) Israel have built a seven meters tall concrete wall around her, almost, we shall notify that such a wall is a must for Anti-Christ to be able to force his dictatorship on them, and using the mark of the beast, a logo with occult numbering 666, to separate out those who follows him and those not. No one can escape, because this tall wall will stop them. Heavily armed guards will be manning every portal and post. And I guess that the wall will be overlooked by cameras and armed police patrols. Be sure of that.

Only those people INSIDE that wall can be forced to obey Anti-Christ, and no one outside that wall can be forced. This is clear as the brightest day!
