THE GAZA WAR

The conflict between Hamas and the Israeli army has reached a huge number of casualties and death and destruction.
Experts have commented over media that it is the worst conflict since 50 years.
We have all seen frightening TV reports showing the bombings and exchanging of missiles raining over the border. Resulting in destruction of not only homes and business buildings in Gaza, but also the hospitals. It’s a dirty-rotten-shame.
Those who shouts ‘Hamas started this war’ – they have willfully forgotten that it was Israel which started the waves of terrorism, way back before 1948 and the declaration of the state of Israel.
It was Hagenah, the Stern gang (Lehi) and other militant Israeli terror groups, like Irgun, which went about killing the inhabitants in Palestine. It was those (Irgun) which bombed Hotel King David in 1946, killing over 90 people. Check out my clip from Wikipedia:

It was Irgun and Lehi (Stern gang) (Menachem Begin was one of the gunmen/assassins!!) which committed a cold blooded massacre of innocent village inhabitants, as they were sleeping inside their houses, in Deir Yassin, the early morning of April 9, 1948. They slaughtered also women and children.

They also assassinated the Swedish diplomat Folke Bernadotte, Count of Wisborg, September 17, 1948. It was the Stern gang (Lehi). This also goes to show what total lack of respect the terror-state Israel has for UN-diplomats. Wikipedia clip gives a short info:
“After the war, Bernadotte was unanimously chosen to be the United Nations Security Council mediator in the Arab–Israeli conflict of 1947–1948. He was assassinated in Jerusalem in 1948 by the paramilitary Zionist group Lehi while pursuing his official duties. Upon his death, Ralph Bunche took up his work at the UN, successfully mediating the 1949 Armistice Agreements between Israel and Egypt.”
Shure, I give you some reflections on the Gaza war!
But I am not so foolish as to ‘forget’ who really started it all. It is historically proven that it was Israel which started the long-lasting conflict and bloodbath in Palestine, - even before Israel was declared a state by UN in 1948.
Whether we mention the PLO-movement led by Yasser Arafat, or the newer Palestinian forces, now known as Hamas, - they must historically be looked upon as defenders of their rightful land, which was stolen from them in the conspiring operations supported by the nations through UN.
Since the destruction of Israel in 70 CE by the Roman Army, the land had been used and cultured by diverse Jewish tribal survivors, Arabs, nomads…mostly farmers and pheasants before the creation of the Zionist state Israel.

Now it gets interesting.
Are you aware of the fact that Jesus foretold of the illegal Zionist movement, through the incident of the demon possessed man in Mat. 12:22,23; 43-45 ?

“Then a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute was brought to Jesus, and He healed him, so that the mute man both spoke and saw. 23All the people wondered in amazement, and said, “Could this be the Son of David (the Messiah)?” --- --- ---
“Now when the unclean spirit has gone out of a man, it roams through waterless (dry, arid) places in search of rest, but it does not find it. 44Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when it arrives, it finds the place unoccupied, swept, and put in order. 45“Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and make their home there. And the last condition of that man becomes worse than the first. So will it also be with this wicked generation.”
Jesus likened this incident with what Israel should commit in a far future: “I will return to my house from which I came” - this is a reference to the House of Israel….in light of them having been cast out of their land in 70 CE by the Romans. Israel, just like the demon whom Jesus cast out of the blind and mute man, was cast out and the nation ceased to exist. And as the demon in Jesus’ parable (verse 44) it found the house unoccupied and swept and put in order. The farmers had used the ‘house’ (Israel’s former land) for centuries and kept it in order. Most Christians today are thinking rightfully that these farmers and families were allowed by God to do so. God chased His disobedient people out of there, using the Romans (Mat. 22:7) in 70 CE.
Jesus’ warning of the Zionist-movement in verse 45, as He tells of the ‘demon’ Israel bringing with her seven other demons (gentile peoples) MORE WICKED THAN ITSELF…and they go in and make their home there.
Jesus’ conclusion was spot-on:
“And the last condition of that man (Israel) becomes worse than the first. SO WILL IT ALSO BE WITH THIS WICKED GENERATION.”
This prophesied wickedness about the Zionist Jews and the gentile peoples with them, is what we can see in today’s destruction and warfare against Gaza and the near areas. It seems as if the Israeli government has a perverse amusement in killing Palestinians by the tens of thousands. They operate with their heavily armed soldiers (weapons from USA!) and it looks more than genocide than just a regular war.
BEFORE THE SECOND COMING, THE LORD
SHALL SEND HIS TWO JUDGEMENT PROPHETS
NAMELY ELIJAH AND MOSES
I cannot help thinking that it may be very probable that God will intervene by sending His two prophets (Rev. 11) down in Israel, when the nation has a heavy war situation going.
Maybe not in this present (December 2023) conflict; but it is wise to expect another conflict soon to come. So, even if a peace-agreement could be in place in the near future, there will come yet another conflict…and this will be so dreadful that God may find it right to intervene. He will start up the prophesied ‘Great Tribulation’ – a period of seven Jewish years preceding the Second Advent. The two prophets in Rev. 11 (Moses and Elijah) will administer this frightful time, so to cleanse the ungodly Israel and have the survivors repent to Jesus Christ. They shall prophecy for 1260 days it says (3 ½ years) and shall be armed supernaturally by God Almighty - all their enemies will be consumed by fire which will flash out from them.
I always asked myself of why these two prophets would need to have such a heavy super-weapon at their disposal?
The only answer I can find is that they are sent down from heaven by God and Christ in the midst of a fierce war going on!
It is therefore very logically to learn that this scenario falls in with the idea that the two will arrive from heaven when there is a war situation going on. They don’t have to carry guns and cannons, for they are armed with an enormous fire-power of supernatural dimensions which the world has never seen before. IMAGE: Gaza ruins.
Rev. 11:4-6 AMP,
“These [witnesses] are the two olive trees and the two lampstands which stand before the Lord of the earth.
5And if anyone wants to harm them, fire comes out of their mouth and devours their enemies; so if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this way. (Editor’s comment: This implies that the super-weapon will actually be used by them!)
6These [two witnesses] have the power [from God] to shut up the sky, so that no rain will fall during the days of their prophesying [regarding judgment and salvation]; and they have power over the waters (seas, rivers) to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with every [kind of] plague, as often as they wish.”
God is going to take down Israel and thus saving her neighbors from getting killed by their brutal army.
God will go to war against Israel, and through that action He shall bring forth a new Israel which will follow Jesus Christ in obedience and faith. Those who go up against Him in that seven-year period shall perish. According to Zech. 13:8 there will be two-thirds of the nation killed, and only one third saved/spared.
I believe that there will not be peace in the Middle-East for real, before the Second Advent.
Jesus prophesied of that tribulation-time before He went to the cross, Mat. 24:21, 22 AMP,
“For at that time there will be a great tribulation (pressure, distress, oppression), such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will [again].
22And if those days [of tribulation] had not been cut short, no human life would be saved; but for the sake of the elect (God’s chosen ones) those days will be shortened.”
Shortly before He said this, we can read (v. 15) that He told that this tribulation should come as an ‘Abomination of Desolation’ would be installed inside their temple, as foretold by Daniel. He spoke of the Anti-Christ occupying the temple, as he will tell the nation that they must fall down before Him, as their God.
Paul also wrote of Anti-Christ, 2 Thes. 2:1-4 AMP,
«1Now in regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to meet Him, we ask you, brothers and sisters,
2not to be quickly unsettled or alarmed either by a [so-called prophetic revelation of a] spirit or a message or a letter [alleged to be] from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has [already] come.
3Let no one in any way deceive or entrap you, for that day will not come unless the apostasy comes first [that is, the great rebellion, the abandonment of the faith by professed Christians], and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction [the Antichrist, the one who is destined to be destroyed],
4who opposes and exalts himself [so proudly and so insolently] above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he [actually enters and] takes his seat in the temple of God, publicly proclaiming that he himself is God.”
The apostasy mentioned in verse 3, happened as Paul confronted the Sanhedrin in Rome in the summer, 60 CE. See Acts 28:25-28. Israel fell away from God as His nation on earth, and in 70 CE they were destroyed and scattered in the world. This apostasy never had anything to do with the present Church dispensation. It has to do with Israel, which refused to accept Jesus as their Messiah!
But the third temple has not yet been built (it is seen standing in Rev. 11) – so there will be no appearance of Anti-Christ until it has been raised…or maybe shortly before it is raised.
We shall have to wait and see what the future brings in this regard. But one day God will intervene.
