in the Solar System!
This article was written originally in

I explain many super-natural events
in Old Testament times, as well as those
to come when the ‘Great Tribulation’ for
Israel arrives soon.

My booklet on Moses and Elijah who shall come to punish, but also have Israel restored back to God as His nation, is showing to the readers a great many frightening moves taking place up in space:
Asteroids, Egyptian Darkness, poisoning of lakes and rivers by meteorites falling, catastrophic huge tsunamis in the Mediterranean Ocean caused by asteroids hitting, reduction of sunlight for a time…yes, - the implications are many.
This article (which I wrote 2015, in Norwegian) will deal with what God performed regarding super-natural adjustments in space etcetera. And He did such moves for two reasons: Namely, on the one hand, punishing ungodly people, and on the other hand, rewarding His righteous believers. The Old Testament is proof of that. I have edited some points in this article, making it more up to date since for nine years ago when I first wrote it.
Some examples of serious moves by God in history are,
“The Prolonged Day” of Joshua in 1398 BC (Jos. 10:9-13).
“The Days of Peleg” around 2669-2436 BC when earth was sectioned (Gen.10:25).
“The Third Day” in Genesis when the oceans were separated from the land masses (Gen. 1:9-10).
“The Days of Noah” - (Born 2948, died 1998 BC) and the Flood (Gen. 7: 17; 8: 14).
“The Days of King Hezekiah” 704 BC, as God made the sun go back 10 steps (Kings II 20:8-11; Isa. 38:7, 8).
That which took place in the old times, was that the Lord and His angels by their interventions let the earth’s ‘tilt’ angle, - in relation to the two Poles, be altered some degrees.
The technical ‘Tool’ to achieve such effects was to have asteroids and meteorites hit the earth. This resulted in what the scientist’s calls for ‘Pole Shifts’ – namely an altered degree of the Poles. Sometimes for the better, and sometimes for punishments. We shall see this in Scripture.
Such specific calculated ‘adjustments’ of the earth’s angle related to the Sun, have been the Lord’s and His angel’s tools way back since He created this world.
We find this method used (going to be used) in Revelation in several rounds, both to and from – to bring about the severe disasters described through the ‘Seven Seals’, ‘Seven Trumpets’, and ‘Seven Bowls of Wrath’ – starting in Revelation chapter 6 and on.
In Col. 1:17 we find a mystical description of Christ’s power in His Divine status in the heavens,
“He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.”
John 1:3 says Amen to this statement,
“All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing * came into being that has come into being.”
It is this mystical presence of Christ which Paul referred to when mentioning Moses and the Hebrews at Sinai in 1 Cor. 10:4,
“…and all drank the same spiritual drink, for they were drinking from a spiritual rock which followed them; and the rock was Christ.”
It was this Spiritual rock – Christ – Who made the Red Sea split, and had food rain from the sky, and Who let their clothes remain as new and ‘unused’ for 40 years in the dessert, Who let a pillar of smoke mark their camp in the daytime, and had it turn to a column of fire in the night; and a lot of other phenomena.
The atheistic part of science tries to offer all these divine interventions of God a ‘scientific explanation’, in which God is not present. The great wonders that took place would have happened anyway, God or no God. But the problem with such foolishness coming from known scientists is that they cannot manage to grasp the truth of God’s Word and instead makes up their own human desperate fantasy…and simply jumps over a lot of reported miracles found in scripture.
One example is what happened to the island Thira in Greece around 1500 BC. Thira is now named as Santorini, see image.
They say that the Hebrews were able to wade across the Red Sea right after this volcanic island, literary spoken, exploded in a gigantic blast. This created an enormous tsunami wave which made the ocean retract from the shores, so the escapees could get over to Sinai. And reversed right afterwards, drowning the persecuting Egyptian Army.
This is a typical limp ‘explanation’ invented by atheistic scientists. It would have happened anyway, thanks to Mother Nature.
They just elegantly skip the Biblical record which clearly says that the waters stood as a wall on both sides, as a strong eastern wind was blowing, sent by the Lord. Exo. 14:21, 22.
The funny thing is, the ocean did not split up before Moses raised his staff and held it forth! Quite a timing if you are asking me, if it was just regular power of the nature which made things happen and not God.
Science cannot explain the constant presence of the pillar of smoke at day time, and of fire at night. We hear no feverish explanation from them on these phenomena. All they come up with is the well-known cliché – Oh, it’s just a myth, a legend; some smart guy just made it up.
I want to mention certain interventions of God, witnesses by humans.
Let us start with King Hezekiah, in Jerusalem, as we find his dramatic story in 2 Kings 20:5-11.
Isaiah the prophet was sent to him, first to tell him that he would die. But the king wept and prayed to the Lord, and had the prophet go back to him to give him a sign, that God really would heal him from his sickness of boils, adding 15 years to his age, - NASB,
“5 "Return and say to Hezekiah the leader of My people, 'Thus says the LORD, the God of your father David, "I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold, I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the LORD.
6 "I will add fifteen * years to your life, and I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for My own sake and for My servant David's sake.""'
7 Then Isaiah said, "Take a cake of figs." And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.
8 Now Hezekiah said to Isaiah, "What will be the sign that the LORD will heal me, and that I shall go up to the house of the LORD the third day?"
9 Isaiah said, "This shall be the sign to you from the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that He has spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten steps or go back ten steps?"
10 So Hezekiah answered, "It is easy for the shadow to decline ten steps; no, but let the shadow turn backward ten steps."
11 Isaiah the prophet cried to the LORD, and He brought the shadow on the stairway back ten steps by which it had gone down on the stairway of Ahaz.”
This stairway of Ahaz was used as a sundial, obviously. That meant that it was solidly integrated in the building’s structure, and nobody could go and move it…trying to play tricks and do some cheating. If the Sun shade moved the backward way, one would know for certain that a miracle took place, and no hoax.
It was a ‘Pole Shift’ taking place, so that the earth’s angle was tilted towards west….10 steps, which equals on our clocks 40 minutes. Going west means, as we know, going back into the start of day, and not the end.
These are the actual facts on what exactly happened in 704 BC when God gave King Hezekiah this marvelous sign:
The so-called ‘North Pole’ was located then just west of the Hudson Bay in Canada. You can look up a diagram on www.museum.state.us/exhibits/ice_ages/index/html for reading of the map regarding ice. You can see how the ice retracted back in this Pole Shift, and up till the present time. It happened fast enough not to leave traces in the earth surface while it shifted. When it was finished (the 40 minutes) – Israel had been moved almost 24 degrees on Latitude.

And notice: God never reversed this sign, turning the sundial back to the former position. NOTICE ALSO: Hapgood is referred to in the film “2012” as we can read the credit texts at the end. The disaster movie portraying that a new Flood would come on the world. But the Jewish Hollywood film moguls and their Jewish director Steven Spielberg quoted Hapgood’s book totally out of context, trying to create a false scientific shine on the film, to make it more credible. But the Bible refutes such an idea of a new Flood á la Noah would come, for God promised that He would NEVER flood the earth again, and He put the Rainbow in the sky as a sign for this promise. Gen. 9:11, 12, NASB,
“11 "I establish My covenant with you; and all flesh shall never again be cut off by the water of the flood, neither shall there again be a flood to destroy the earth."
12 God said, "This is the sign of the covenant which I am making between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all successive generations”.
Any new ‘Flood of Noah’ is a ‘No Go’!
Panic-stricken folk having seen the disaster-film “2012”, (it came 13th November, 2009) stormed the telephone board at NASA, to ensure for themselves that such a disaster would not really come. The newspapers in the USA wrote about this incident, as well as internet media. Hollywood was forced to announce publicly that “2012” was just a fictive action story, and had nothing to do with reality whatsoever.
It was during the Pole Shift in 704 BC that the icecap emerged over Siberia with its extreme cold, which made the Mammoths freeze to death and over time become covered with layers of hard Permafrost ice.
Pole Shifts are a serious thing.
There are websites that proves it was not any forming of glaciers which created the Great Lakes in USA. Because it is proven that land masses moving toward Equator are ‘stretched’, while masses moving toward the Poles are compressed. Stretching makes ravines/canyons, while land getting compressed forms hill tops and mountains. This effect is most visible near Equator, but it goes the whole way up to the Poles north/south.
In 2 Chronicles 32:31 we find Babylonian astrologists who were sent to Hezekiah to inquire of the miracle of the sundial going backwards. This goes to prove that the phenomena were visible far outside of Israel! And so it could not have been a local incident seen only in Jerusalem.
“Even in the matter of the envoys of the rulers of Babylon, who sent to him to inquire of the wonder that had happened in the land, God left him alone only to test him, that He might know all that was in his heart.”
God worked a wonder, using the method of ‘Pole Shifting’ as He sent asteroids or meteorites on an exact calculated course, just enough to make the earth going a tilt-angle to the west and so ‘lose 40 minutes’ on the sundial of Ahaz.
Then we shall come to Joshua and the ‘Prolonged Day’ in Jos. 10:12, 13 – which is perhaps one of the best stories on ‘Pole Shifts’ in the Bible.
“12 Then Joshua spoke to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the sons of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, "O sun, stand still at Gibeon, And O moon in the valley of Aijalon."
13 So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, Until the nation avenged themselves of their enemies. Is it not written in the book of Jashar? And the sun stopped in the middle of the sky and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day.”
Here we find that the sundial was ‘frozen’ for almost 12 hours! It stopped at High Noon, and stood there for ten-twelve hours. It says ‘For about a whole day’.
In the days of Joshua the North Pole was located out in the sea, right outside of Northern Norway. The icecap on the Pole covered vast areas of Northern Europe. Proofs of Glacier formations are found many places. But the effect of this Pole location spread all the way down south-east to Egypt. The nation often had rain showers. The old kingdom’s history tells of rainy weather which increased more and more over the years. It is commonly mentioned that during the ice-age, the Poles grew bigger, and covered large areas in Canada and Northern Europe. An indication that the Poles were moving, instead of the whole world going colder, is that there were no ice-cap in Alaska, while continental ice-caps covered the area of the Great Lakes in USA.
This ‘Prolonged Day’ of Joshua can better be explained if we imagine that he sat on a Jumbo 747-Jet plane in Europe and fled westward to USA. Joshua had no such Jet plane, we know that of course. But the ground he stood on moved hastily westward in relation to the position of the sun. The day became much longer than normal. Jerusalem in Joshua’s time was on a Latitude equivalent with London in our time. Joshua’s war battle started at dawn and went on the entire length of the prolonged day. It started with a march of 33 kilometers in the night, but the battle itself was not happening until they had chased the Amorites for 132 kilometers. Then it is told that stones rained from heaven upon the Amorite army. God let smaller (and glowing hot) meteorites hit them, and many died (Jos. 10:9-14).
These stones were in such number that it was heavy enough to serve as a push on the earth for making a Pole Shift, so that the day became very long. In Hebrew it is used the word eben, and in Greek it is litos. It means stones (not hail).
The earth did not enter a new orbital course, for it was only a Pole Shift.
The Pole Shift of the North Pole at that time was from the ocean outside Norway and westward to Hudson Bay in Canada. The deep Fjord landscape in the Norwegian fjords (see image of Trollfjorden) – is a result of the Pole as it were in the time of Joshua. The movements of the thick ice-cap wore and ‘sanded’ down the rock ground and made big ravines which later became what we today call Fjords.
The ‘Prolonged Day’ of Joshua happened late in the year 1398 BC, right after the Law of Moses had been read on the Gerizim Mountain and at Eglon. It was the month of October.
After that Pole Shift in Joshua’s time Jerusalem ended up on the Latitude close to Equator.
There exist historical proofs of the British Isles at that time, suffering from effects due to the ice-age in Northern Europe.
The stone-rain upon the Amorites was coming from the Lord’s “Weapon Storehouse” in outer space, Job 38:22-23, NASB,
22 "Have you entered the storehouses of the snow, Or have you seen the storehouses of the hail,
23 Which I have reserved for the time of distress, For the day of war and battle?
Like as with Joshua, fighting the Amorites in 1398 BC, it will also be as we read Revelation; meteorites and asteroids will hit Israel’s land in the times of the ‘Great Tribulation’. Only, in the case of Joshua the Lord was doing this FOR Israel, while in the ‘Great Tribulation’ the Lord will be at war with the ungodly Zionist-Israel…the worst thinkable enemies of Jesus Christ! It will be ‘Payback time’! See also Ezekiel 36:19-23, the Lord shall vindicate His Holy Name which has been blasphemed through the centuries by the fallen Jewry. Let me just quote the passage, NASB,
“19 "Also I scattered them among the nations and they were dispersed throughout the lands. According to their ways and their deeds I judged them.
20 "When they came to the nations where * they went, they profaned My holy name, because it was said of them, 'These are the people of the LORD; yet they have come out of His land.'
21 "But I had concern for My holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations where * they went.
22 "Therefore say to the house of Israel, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am about to act, but for My holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where * you went.
23 I will vindicate the holiness of My great name which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD," declares the Lord GOD, "when I prove Myself holy among you in their sight.”
Particularly verses 22 and 23 say which cause the Lord shall be acting for: He shall vindicate, or restore His Holy Name in the minds of the world which has listened to the blasphemies spoken by the dispersed Jewry. This is a reference to what took place in 70 CE as God destroyed Israel. These Jews have for centuries blasphemed the name of the Lord Jesus Christ among the Gentile nations. And thus these nations shall KNOW (as they will witness the tribulation cast upon Israel) that it is the Lord Who is acting! So, woe to the Jesus-haters…the Anti-Christian people which is Zionist-Israel.
In our time 70% of the earth’s surface is covered by water, and with an average depth of 8 kilometers. When the earth was made there was no dry land. It was entirely covered by water.
How was dry land made?
Answer: By a long series of vast Pole Shifts!
If earth at that time had the same speed and gravity-power of our time, it would mean that the seafloor would have been elevated by 40 kilometers. And if the floor cracked open, it would mean that the elevation-process raised the floor with about 20 kilometers for each Pole Shift.
Gen. 1:1, 2, tells of the Spirit of the Lord hovered above the water. This was literally so, for there was not any dry land yet.
God had His earth go through a vast series of Pole Shifts so the seafloor should be elevated many places around the globe – Gen. 1:9, 10.
The ongoing Pole Shifting was one long cycle of several hundreds, and the Lord had the earth in its orbit move the Poles until the wanted landmasses were in place, according to His will.
Because of the earth being 40 kilometers wider around Equator compared to the Poles, it sets a limitation to what level of elevation is possible at maximum: 40 kilometers; and also limitation to the grade of compression on the continents: 40 kilometers.
When we know these facts…the hundreds (maybe more than a thousand?) Pole Shifts God had to activate, then we can understand that the ‘Third Day’ in Gen. 1 must have been going on for a number of years. For the Sun and the planets did not go into a system before the Fourth Day. It is from that day we are able to get specific times, the length of the day and the night and so forth.
So, again…on the Prolonged Day of Joshua the earth was all in its axis, orbiting around the Sun, like we have given that time of the 24-hours per round. The earth did not stand still in relation to the Sun, for God instead had the earth taking one extra ‘turn’ temporarily so that the Pole outside the coast of Norway was moved westward over to the Hudson Bay, Canada. At the same times Israel was ‘moved’ closer to Equator so that the days normally got longer during winter.
Another side of this effect – as we have a very different globe and a greater population in our time – is that if such Pole Shifting should happen, people in for instance the USA would experience that the night would last for 20 hours! If that Prolonged Day of Joshua was repeated. What would shocked and ignorant people in America think if one day the Sun did not rise…giving them a new bright day? Or if we turn this around, - what if the prophesied signs and plagues in Revelation 16:10 of a great darkness (a prolonged night) fell upon them, so they would start chewing their tongues with fear and panic?
During that prolonged day in the time of Joshua, America was in such a great darkness, 20 hours, much like seen in Rev. 16:10. While the people on Hawaii would experience the opposite, a day lasting 20 hours sunshine!
Do you recall what Mat. 27:45 say of what happened as Jesus hung on the cross? A total darkness fell on Israel, for three hours!
“Now from the sixth hour darkness fell upon all the land until the ninth hour.” (At noon…lasting till 15.oo, three hours).
God performed a short Pole Shift as His beloved Son Jesus Christ died for the sins of the world. A God-sent meteorite hitting earth shifting it to the east, - followed three hours later by another meteorite hitting to bring back the correct position of the earth.
What horror must have shaken the people in Israel, especially those watching Christ on the cross!?? A sudden frightening darkness fell. And not in the way it does when a regular solar eclipse happens due to the position of planets. And followed by an earthquake, creating a most horrorful scenario. So much as to make tough Roman centurions and soldiers confess aloud: Truly this was the Son of God!
Mat. 27:51-54, NASB,
“51 And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth shook and the rocks were split.
52 The tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised;
53 and coming out of the tombs after His resurrection they entered the holy city and appeared to many.
54 Now the centurion, and those who were with him keeping guard over Jesus, when they saw the earthquake and the things that were happening, became very frightened and said, "Truly this was the Son of God!"
Luke 23:44 says the same thing, of the darkness falling,
“It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness fell over the whole land until the ninth hour”.
Habakkuk 3:11 also tells of this,
“Sun and moon stood in their places; They went away at the light of Your arrows, At the radiance of Your gleaming spear.”
‘Your arrows’ – ‘Your gleaming spear’ - some very telling expressions, when we know that God had meteorites hurling down from the heavens at a speed of 4800 kilometer per hour!
Jesus spoke of certain things to happen in the tribulation (Mat. 24), like,
You will see SIGNS IN THE SUN AND THE MOON AND THE STARS.
Can this be part of God’s process regarding the plagues seen in Revelation, - as He shall cause Pole Shifts by the means of asteroids and meteorites? I really believe this is the case!
For a short period of time, people in Israel shall be burnt and harmed by extreme sun heat, Rev. 16:8-9, NASB,
“8 The fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun, and it was given to it to scorch men with fire.
9 Men were scorched with fierce heat; and they blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues, and they did not repent so as to give Him glory.”
The Jesus-haters in Zionist-Israel are seen here as blatant reprobate blasphemers. They go down ‘In flames’ as they shout blasphemies against God Who has power over these plagues.
And in Rev. 16:17-21 we read of the seventh bowl of wrath emptying over Israel in the tribulation – resulting in asteroids or eventually meteorites – ‘hail stones’ – raining like those in the time of Joshua.
They are described having a weight of 25 kilos. This means that they will have same frightful effect of destruction as that of bombs exploding. They hit earth in speeds around 1200-2000 kilometer an hour. Twice the speed of a gun bullet.
And the masses/numbers of stones must be enormous: In Rev. 16:20, 21, we find that islands and mountain peaks go down. This takes place both at sea (Mediterranean) as well as on Israeli grounds. This is what will happen as God causes new Pole Shifts,
“20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
21 And huge hailstones, about one hundred pounds each, came down from heaven upon men; and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, because its plague was extremely severe.”
NOTICE: It is not islands all over the world. It is those near the coasts of Israel, in the eastern part of the Mediterranean. Likewise, it will be mountain peaks in Israel going down, - and not the Himalayas or the Rockies! Rest assured of that. It is ISRAEL which will get the prophesied tribulation, and not the world.
This time it will not be as when God was with Joshua and Israel, destroying the Amorites. No, it will be God’s WAR against the ungodly Zionist-Israel (those who are supported by bewildered Christians Zionists!) – and He shall first punish Israel, and thereafter He shall raise them up (the surviving 1/3 of the population) to become His nation again on earth. Ex. 19:5, 6 will thus be fulfilled, as Israel shall be God’s Holy Nation, a Royal Priesthood. See Isa. 2.
They have to go through the chastisements and terrors of the ‘Great Tribulation’ as Jesus told them, Mat. 24, 21, 22, NASB,
“21 "For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever * will.
22 "Unless those days had been cut short, no * life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.”
I hope sincerely that this article will be of help to understand much of what puzzles the average Bible student these days. My take on this is that since Christianity in general have for centuries written about this, the Apocalypse and the Second Advent etcetera, it is right to make a study to see if these things are in place, - that the Bible is understood in a better way. Not that this really concerns the Church dispensation, but still it is good to make certain issues clear to us to avoid doubts and fear and such.
When we get filled with solid Bible knowledge and get to know how God operates in certain matters, it is much easier to see how we as Christians are by Grace favored by God, through His Son Jesus Christ.
Eph. 4:29-32, NASB,
“29 Let no * unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear.
30 Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
31 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.
32 Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.”
